영어 일상 표현 정리 : 이 닦기 , 치실 사용하기

치실은 영어로 floss

치실 사용하기는 flossing

먼저, 한국어로 이닦는 과정과, 치실하는 과정을 설명해보고, 영작해봅시다. 

 

[이 닦기]

Dan은 자신의 칫솔에 물을 적신다. 치약을 칫솔에 짠다. 칫솔을 위아래로 움직이고 좌우로 움직여 닦는다. 입을 헹구기 위해 물을 머금고, 좌우로 움직여 헹구고 세면대에 뱉어낸다. 칫솔을 씻는다. 그 다음 씻은 칫솔을 다시 선반에 올려 둔다. 

Dan runs some water over his toothbrush. (적시다 : runs water over)

He squeezes toothpaste onto his toothbrush. (onto : ~로 , ~쪽으로)

He moving his toothbrush up and down, and back and forth.

To rinse his mouth, he takes some water, swishes it back and forth in his mouth and spits it into the sink. 

He rinses off his toothbrush.

Then, he puts it back in the toothbrush rack. ( 선반 : rack)

 

[치실 하기]

기다란 치실을 뽑아내서 이 사이에 끼워넣어 앞뒤 위아래로 움직여 닦아낸다. 

Pulling out a long piece of floss slipping it between his teeth, and moving it back and forth and up and down.
